Not stunning but...

...A solid piece of classical entertainment... could use better samples though.

MusicalRocky responds:

Yeah, I'm planning on trying to get GPO soon.

Sounds like Opeth

Not much to say, it's played perfectly, the vocals are great. So why only 9/10? Because it's a cover. Come on! You've got skills, make more of your own and I'll bet it will be a blast, you'll go on world tour and Opeth will be your support ;p peace!

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

Haha, that would be cool.

I really don't know

I love the sound, the delayed guitar, and thank god you didn't use guitar synth (or did you? ;P), yet nothing really moving happens in this track, sorry but imo you should work a bit on on your composition and make it more... dunno.... moving maybe? Peace!

SlothClock responds:

yeah, i recorded the song RIGHT after i learned it and i just started working with the recording program. I was using around 6-8 guitar tracks for the whole thing and for a mic i used a little computer mic believe it or not haha. So given with the right quality and equalization as well as some added effects would add that extra notch, I'm just waiting to get a bit more familiar with the program and what it can do.

Thanks for the input :)

Very good, but...

Nice tune, very soothing. My only complaint is... well, I'm getting really sick&tired of synthetic guitars, they were fun at first, but come on! They sound horrible... or is it just me? Anyway, my both thumbs up for melody & arrangements. Peace!

mhb responds:

i completely understand where you're comin' from with the synth guitar thing. the only reason i used 'em for this tune was 'cause at the time i made it my sonar program was havin' difficulties understandin' that i was the owner and it was the program. thanks for the compliments and the review!

pretty cool

Great orchestrations & Nice use of synthetic guitar (is it Slayer from FL Studio?).

jrayteam6 responds:

Yeah, its slayer 1, this is back when I sucked a lot harder building guitar engines in FL... sigh.

Good track

It could as well be placed in New Wave cathegory. Anyway, it's well made tune, with lot of space and nice flowing melody, yet it really isn't anything new.

curriemaster responds:

Cheers for the review Vertlain, Im not really that good of a judge when it comes to choosing which genre my music falls into, I just tend to bung it with something sounds like it. This is indeed a very unoriginal tune, hopefully one day Ill be changing it around a bit.

Thanks again!

Very good

...and very nostalgic piece of music. Me like!

Demitrik responds:

Thank you!
Another theme comeing soon.

This is sick!

Really sick in a good way... but where is teh twist?

laggy-luk responds:

You should listen to it while spinning around on your head to hear the twisting sounds ;P
